The Sense & Nonsense about Dating
 

Singleness can be very challenging for many people. But getting from singleness into a healthy & loving relationship feels like even more of a challenge. Starting with dating? Who to date? How to date? How to know if he/she is The One? With expectations running sky high, we think we can ‘know’ and have to know by just throwing a glance at someone or having gone on a date only once or twice. Is it chemistry versus character? Do they both equally count? What to do with fear, how to deal with rejection and expectations? How to overcome painful experiences? These and many more questions are addressed in this course.

What?

A 5-week course providing you with lots of insights regarding dating and singleness, including a male/female session where specific gender-issues are addressed. We have inspiring teachings, small group discussions and assignments to get the most out of this course. The book we use is that of dr. Henry Cloud ‘How to get a date worth keeping’, which will be provided at the start of the course. The teaching is done through a DVD series by Dr. Cloud, by singles at Crossroads, by people who married later in life and by people giving the pre-marriage course. All these perspectives combined will help you figure out your own perspective on healthy Christian dating.

When?

Sunday mornings, 5 weeks in a row, starting May 13th, 20th, June 3rd, 10th and 17th, 10.30-12.30u.

For whom?

Singles wanting to get the best out of their dating experiences. For you to get the most out of the course and teaching, commitment is key. When you sign up we expect you to be there for the full course.

Costs?

We ask a contribution of 25 euro’s to cover the costs of materials.
