Children's Choir from Uganda!

This Sunday (26 June), a children's choir from Uganda will sing in the services of Crossroads! The Dutch organisation UP4S (up for us) reaches out to orphans and children in poor areas, and they brought the children here to sing for their future and that of their friends in Uganda.

All members of Crossroads are invited to the annual financial update meeting on the evening of Monday, 6 June. Please join us at 7:30 pm at the Ministry Centre as we also take the opportunity to give a short report on the progress being made by the various leadership structure change teams.

Noah's Ark collection update

In the e-letter of December, we promised to keep you posted on the funds being collected by the Noah's Ark classes for Mozambique. At that time they had already collected € 450.31.  The money will be used to provide street children in Mozambique a chance to go to pre-school.

It is with mixed feelings, both sadness and rejoicing, that we announce that Daniel de Wet has accepted a teaching position at a church in South Africa, and plans to leave around the end of August. We are sad to see him go, but rejoice with him as he is following his calling to teach and preach.

Will you help teenagers to discover God?

In September we will start a new group! Young teenagers, ages 10 – 12, often feel too old for the Children's Church and they are too young for the youth group. What are we to do?? We are starting a new active program called Rock Steady, offering a mix of crazy games and deep conversations.
