Sharing the Christmas Gift
On Saturday December 15, from early in the morning to late in the afternoon, the Clara Maria farm in Amstelveen will be abuzz again with treasure-seeking children for Christmas at the Farm. It’s a contemporary, theatrical and sometimes smelly search for what the true gift of Christmas. It’s an event that’s become a yearly must for families, those who’ve visited and those who’ve helped. We’ve talked to some people who don’t want to miss this event again.
Dad-Kid-Camp report
The second weekend of September 60 dads and children went on the mission possible camp. The weather was great, the organisation superb and the food delicious. We spend time concidering the mission God gave us in Acts 1:8 and played games and assignments that followed the theme mission possible. We are very thankfull for a great weekend and for all the people who made it possible. See below for a video impression of the camp. More pictures here
Dad-Kid Camp
Start the new season of Children's Church & 10+ with another great Dad-Kid Camp weekend. Kids ages 7 – 12 and their dads can join us in Zeist on September 7 – 9, 2012. At camp we will get to know God and each other a lot better. We're looking forward to having a great time together singing, praying, playing games and other activities. Children without a dad, or whose dad is unable to join us, can join another dad and his kids for the weekend. Feel free to invite your friends and their dads as well. This camp is for everyone!
New Children's Group Started!
On the 4th of December we started a new group called: “Vogels” for the 2 year old Dutch
speaking children in Crossroads. We were having more then 30 children in the two crèches
(age 0-2) on a regular basis on a Sunday morning. To ensure the safety of the children we
don’t allow more than 15 children per classroom and we had to start sending children with
their parents away. Not so welcoming!
Christmas@thefarm 2011
On Saturday December 17th, we celebrated Christmas at the Farm with the children of Crossroads and many visitors. It was a great celebration in which the donkey, sheep and camel told the Christmas story, each from their unique point of view.

Children's End-of-the-Season Celebration
Last Sunday the 17th of July we had the Children's End-of-the-Season Celebration. It was great to see the parents and spend some time together. Once again we want to thank the volunteers who made this season of Children's Church possible. We want to thank Hilde for all the great work she has done in the Children's Church. Thank you Hilde for all your input and enthousiasm!!
