On Sunday, June 16th we will NOT have a service here in the school building in Amstelveen. Our service will be outside in the city of Amsterdam and other cities.

Does God call us to do things we dislike, or things we are passionate about? Does He challenge us to grow in areas beyond our giftings and desires, or does He only ask us to serve from our strengths?
Church on the Move
With Pentecost we're starting a new series called ‘Church on the move’. We are moving this summer (crossing the road together) to a new building, bringing lots of exiting change, but church is so more than where we meet and what happens on Sundays. The book of Acts is a great place to get an idea of what church is and can be. Pentecost is where it starts. It’s an inside out movement. Filled with the Sprit the church begins to move.
Night of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
Our persecuted brothers and sisters urgently need our prayers . On June 7 we will have an all night prayer meeting. Video introductions and prayer documentation will be available. Registration is not required, just follow your heart and answer the call of the Lord.
Shattered Expectations
Jesus is a Master storyteller. Most of his teachings come to us through stories or parables. Most of Jesus’ parables are short, simple and straightforward. Some, however, are longer and shatter our expectations; they end with a twist.
In this 5-week teaching series we will look at some of these surprising stories in Luke’s Gospel to discover more about the person of Jesus and his amazing grace towards us.

Planning to Get Married?
Are you thinking about getting married? Marriage is an important step in life. Crossroads offers a six session course in spring 2014 to help you develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage. If your wedding date is before that, there is also an chance to self-study. The course covers topics such as expressing feelings and learning to listen, the importance of commitment, resolving conflict and enjoying sex. You will also meet with a mentoring couple to discuss what you experience together.
