LIFE GROUPS


We all desire to have a place to belong, where we are free to be ourselves, where we can ask hard questions without being judged. We also need the kind of friends who will speak into our lives to challenge and sharpen our character. But in this fast-paced world of mobile phones, the Internet and frequent travel it seems more difficult than ever to find the time to develop these kind of meaningful relationships.
At Crossroads we believe that authentic community is central to the Christian faith and central to our own personal growth. In fact, we believe that the Christian life can only be relevantly lived out in the context of community. That's why we place such a high value on our LIFEgroup ministry. LIFEgroups are the DNA of our journey together, the context in which we are able to: Develop authentic friendships, Nurture spiritual growth and Apply faith to life.

Our LIFEgroups are unique blends of people who journey, love, and learn together. Typically 6 to 12 people in size, LIFEgroups can have many purposes: studying Scripture, praying, sharing books, discussing current topics, serving others, offering support and encouragement, having fun and eating together. LIFEgroups of Crossroads are meeting in places all over the greater Amsterdam area.
